NGIS is seeking anAssociate Material Plannerto support our Large Structures Center of Excellence at our Iuka MS facility.
? Identify raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules.
? Generate purchase requisitions to support future build needs.
? Provide updates to buyers when schedules change or problems arise.
? Track material quality and initiate actions to extend or eliminate expiring material.
? Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production areas.
? Coordinate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and engineering personnel to ensure appropriate quantities of materials are always on hand.
? 1+ years of experience Material Planning
? 4 Year Degree
? Strong and demonstrable understanding of ERP/MRP logic and systems; preferably Costpoint experience
? Experience using scheduling/inventory management tools including MS Project, Pull Systems, FIFO and Min/Max/Reorder Point.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent follow up.
? Technical skills required; Excel, MS Powerpoint, Visual scheduling tools
? Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
