Quality Manager

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and supervise all aspects of the division:CMM, claims,CAO (Babtec), sorting and 100% controls, incoming goods inspection
    • KPI: number of quality alerts
    • KPI: PPM
    • KPI: number of open / overdue 8D
  • Ensure adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, further develop processes and procedures to ensure future adherence, incl. 3rd party audits (prepare, accompany, review results and define measures accordingly)
  • Ensure good capacity utilization of the CMM
  • Plan, execute, and review internal audits
  • Prepare, accompany, and review customer and audits, incl. visits to costumers
  • Prepare execute and review supplier audits, incl. visits to suppliers
  • Perform the following tasks, if needed:
    • Compile PPAP for customer and check and release supplier PPAP (incl. IMDS)
    • Complaint Management with BABTEC, incl. systematic root cause analysis
    • Perform weld seam, coating thickness and surface tension analysis
    • Create and modify FMEA (Failure Method Effect Analysis)
    • Create and modify Quality control plans
    • Release production after performing necessary quality checks
    • Write quality check procedures for production (also in BABTEC)
    • Support employees if they need help (measuring parts or performing BABTEC checks)
  • Communicate with senior management, production, tool & die, and logistics regarding claims and quality issues.
  • Lead supervisors; support and monitor them in leading their employees. Seek support from HR or senior management, if needed. Ensure enforcement of policies and procedures. Work with HR on theKPls below and ensure accuracy and on-time data:
    • KPI: Turnover
    • KPI: Absenteeism
  • Review performance of employees according to
  • Optimize processes and
  • Ensure quality employees are trained and qualified for the job they are
  • Conduct process analysis (to release processes and tools for serial production)
  • Establishes maintenance procedures (in collaboration with other departments)
  • Maintain and control the physical condition of the department (including 5S)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by senior management.

  • Support HR during hiring process
  • Support maintenance procedures
  • Plan & coordinate PTO for department heads taking in consideration the companies
  • Fill-in in absence of supervisors/ employees during
  • Other related duties as assigned by senior
  • Safety related tasks:
  • Assures safety rules and procedures are always followed, do not tolerate any exceptions
  • Daily checks that the machines and equipment are in safe conditions
  • If unsafe behavior is detected stop employee immediately
  • Work closely together with Environmental Health & Safety Manager to establish and maintain safety prevention program and 5S implementation.

Direct and coordinate Quality operations in accordance with customer requirements and with business objective to manufacture high quality products in time at the lowest possible cost.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
