Position
Summary:

Under the direction of theShift Supervisor, Slitter Operators are responsible for efficiently loading cores, removing finished rolls, performing quality checks, and properly labeling, packaging and staging product in order to safely produce high-quality finished goods in accordance with the job safety analyses (JSA s), production schedule, set-up instructions, operating procedures, and quality specifications, etc.

Essential Functions & Key
Responsibilities:

  • Understand and follow all JSA s and safety procedures/policies
  • Loads Cores.
  • Webs, pulls and maintains material to produce quality finished product onto rolls
  • Inspects quality of rolls before production begins and continuously checks quality of the product as it is being produced
  • Properly documents quality inspections
  • Checks all safety guards are in place and working properly according to procedure.
  • Removes bad material, and removes rolls of finished product.
  • Properly labels, packages and stages finished rolls
  • Weighs scrap ,records weight and sends to be recycled
  • Completes accruate Shift Reports.

Candidate Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background , physical and drug screen.
  • Ability to work 12 hour days.
  • Work overtime as required
  • Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with our without accommodation

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
